The actor’s search for the character starts in the body.

The body is the actor’s instrument. That’s where everything is; the movement, the voice, the feelings, the expressions, the soul and the spirit.

To become a good performer you need to learn how to fully control and use your instrument.

Britt’s movement techniques developed over 25 years will help the actor to gain this control. Through movement, she can teach how to express a character, find different feelings and develop the ability to react spontaneously to text, fellow actors, the space and the audience.

Her training will help you develop the ability to react instinctively as if it was real and for the first time.

Britt’s methods will also improve energy, flexibility, stamina, fitness, awareness and strength.

Body awareness
– develop great mobility and control of the separate body parts and then build up the fluidity and coordination between them.

Flexibility – stretching that is generous and safe to really improve physical ability.

Strength – fun and powerful techniques to strengthen the muscles.

Stamina – fitness of body and fitness of mind and attitude.

Breath technique
– the right breathing that works with all movements to achieve the highest potential.

Spatial awareness
– develop precision in where you lay your “presence” and your communication with fellow actors and the audience.

Posture – maintain a good posture by owning it and feeling comfortable with it.

Act and react
– training to make your body react before your brain.

Relaxation – relax in stillness but also in activity.
