ABOUT BRITT FORSBERG

Britt is Swedish and has been living in Brighton, England since 1994. She has been involved with performing and the theatre since her youth and has worked extensively as an actor and (from 1983) as a teacher of voice, movement and acting technique.

She was a founder member of several theatre companies in Sweden and has devised and performed many solo performances both in Sweden and England - including at the Brighton Festival in 2005 and 2006.

She has Diplomas from the University  of Gothenburg in Physical Theatre and Theatre Leadership and has attended courses at the Grotowski Centre in Wroclaw  Poland (run by students of Grotowski himself) and at ISTA with Eugenio Barba of the Odin Teatret from Denmark.

Although she still enjoys to act, her main goal is to pass on to others the unique and highly effective methods and techniques that she has developed over 25 years and to help performers to reach their full potential and create great performances.

Although her private teaching, workshops and seminars are directed to actors and performers they can be very useful for anyone wanting to develop good communication and presentation skills, self – confidence and general well-being.

She is currently collecting her methods and techniques into a book to be published in 2011.
